There are many pages named Eden on MySpace, so youre going to have to look up their guitarist, Moshe Axelrod. He lists many classical and classic rock composers as influences, but his more recent ones include The Wallflowers, Gin Blossoms, and Third Eye Blind. Eden songs often start in liturgy, but rather than simply repeat the siddurs words, they take the passage's theme and expand on it. For example, their Modeh Ani expounds on the idea of gratitude, and V'Ahavta applies the Golden Rule to real-life situations. Their sound is somewhere between folk rock and alt-rock. Their acoustic-electric mix is surprisingly flexible, and there is lot of variety put out for just a three-piece unit. Like Rav Shmuel, this trio is from New York yes, even in the global village of MySpace, there is still Jewish music that originates in the Big Apple Strudel.

“Yitzchak [ Jordan aka Y-Love ] is in many ways on the avant-garde,” said Moshe Axelrod, guitarist of the frum rock group Eden. “Rap is borrowed from a secular idiom, and he is using it as a medium to express his faith.”
